Privacy policy
Effective October 7, 2026. Updated October 20, 2026.
Filtrum Inc. operates Aelo and aelofilter.com. This policy describes the information used for our early-access email list, referral program and website.
Information we collect
When you join, we collect your email address, consent records, age affirmation, referral attribution and signup source. When you claim a free kit, we also collect your shipping address and your US eligibility affirmation, and we confirm your email address. After you use the kit, we may collect your survey answers. Security records can include hashed IP and device identifiers, browser information, request times and fraud-review signals. We record how many friends have joined through your link and your kit claim. We do not collect your friends’ contact details: you send your invite from your own phone or email.
You may optionally provide a first name and separately choose whether it appears on the public member roll. Your email address and personal referral dashboard are not part of that public roll.
How we use it
We use these records to provide secure dashboard access, attribute valid joins, review and ship kit claims, send and read the feedback survey, prevent abuse and respond to support requests. Email delivery, bounce, complaint and unsubscribe events help us keep messages and preferences accurate.
Optional marketing and analytics
Product news, educational content and promotional referral updates require your separate marketing opt-in. You can unsubscribe in those emails or change your dashboard preferences. Unsubscribing from marketing does not erase participation, valid joins or an earned kit. Messages needed to provide requested access and to administer participation and your kit claim are separate.
We use optional website analytics, including PostHog, and Meta Pixel and Conversions API to understand website use, measure visits and new pre-launch sign-ups, and understand how our ads perform. For visitors identified as being in the United States, optional measurement is enabled by default unless you opt out. Elsewhere, including the EU/EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, or when we cannot determine your country, it starts only after you accept. We use our hosting provider's country information for this choice. Global Privacy Control disables optional measurement. Do Not Track alone does not change the choice.
You can decline or change your choice at any time through Privacy choices or Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. These controls stop optional analytics and advertising measurement and withdraw permission for queued conversion events associated with your browser or authenticated account. They do not affect your ability to join or your separate marketing preference. Essential session, referral attribution and security storage supports the service independently of optional measurement.
When measurement is permitted, Meta may receive browser and device information, eligible page addresses, advertising cookie and click identifiers, client IP address and browser user agent. For a new signup, we also send Meta a SHA-256 hash of your normalized email address through the Conversions API to match the conversion with its advertising records. A hashed email remains personal information; it is not anonymous. We do not include your name, referral code, invite link or health answers in conversion event data. The website Pixel does not use email advanced matching. Temporary conversion matching values stored on our server expire after seven days and are removed by automated cleanup, or are cleared when permission is withdrawn. This sharing supports advertising measurement and may be considered sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under applicable privacy law. Meta and external sharing services operate under their own privacy policies.
Service providers and disclosure
We use Netlify to host the website and process requests, Supabase to store and administer campaign records, and Postmark to deliver email. Authorized providers process information needed for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to investigate abuse and protect the service. To ship your kit, we share your name and shipping address with our shipping and fulfillment providers. We do not publish your email address in public referral statistics.
Our homepage (aelofilter.com) shows a news report hosted on YouTube, a Google service. Until you press play, the page shows only a still image from YouTube’s image server, which receives your IP address and browser information like any web request. When you press play, the video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube may collect information about your viewing under Google’s privacy policy.
Your choices and retention
You can change marketing and public-name preferences in your dashboard. To request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal from participation, contact us below. We retain information needed to operate the program, resolve kit claims, ship kits, investigate abuse and meet applicable obligations; some records may need to remain for those purposes after a request. Withdrawal from participation is separate from a marketing unsubscribe and can affect the ability to administer your kit.
International participation and age
The program accepts participants aged 18 or older worldwide. Our services and providers may process information in the United States and other locations. The free kit and the initial product launch are US-only, as explained in the reward terms.
